Kids Christmas Craft: Pine Cone Owl

by | Oct 12, 2017 | Make

There’s just something about October that makes us want to try a new kids Christmas craft, and here’s one you can do now for fall or later for Christmas. These cute pine cone owls are super easy to make, fun to do with kids for Christmas, and make excellent gifts or decorations. If you like these, see our other Kids Christmas Crafts ideas too!

To start you’ll only need a few supplies. Some Feathers, Pinecones, Felt, Googly Eyes and Sissors. You can use regular Craft Glue, but I used a hot Glue Gun.

First, cut your felt into circles slightly larger than your Googly Eyes, and affix them together. Also cut small triangles for the beaks.

Start gluing the feathers to the acorns. I cover half of the acorn in feathers, trim wherever you wish.

Next, assemble all the pieces and affix to the pine cone where you like. It couldn’t be simpler!
